Our electric furnace transformers are tailor-made for harsh smelting loads featuring wide-range multi-tap voltage adjustment to match varied melting processes. Designed with enhanced high-impedance structure, they effectively limit short-circuit surge current from frequent electrode contact and arc fluctuation, supporting 20% short-time overload operation without overheating. Winding adopts thick copper foil for low-voltage side to realize ultra-large output current while improving mechanical strength against periodic electromagnetic impact. Premium low-loss CRGO silicon steel reduces no-load loss and vibration noise. Multiple cooling modes including ONAN, ONAF and OFWF water cooling can be configured per site ambient condition. Complying with IEC60076 standards, all units pass full type tests, widely customized for steelmaking, ferroalloy, calcium carbide and heat-treatment industries with stable long-term continuous running performance.

        Electric furnace transformer is a specialized heavy-duty power conversion equipment exclusively developed to serve all types of industrial electric furnaces, including electric arc furnace (EAF), submerged arc furnace (SAF), induction furnace and resistance furnace, which converts high-voltage grid power into low-voltage, ultra-large current to sustain metal smelting, alloy refining, carbide synthesis and industrial heat treatment production. Distinguished fundamentally from conventional distribution transformers for civil power supply, furnace transformers operate under extremely severe working conditions marked by drastic load fluctuation, frequent instantaneous short-circuit surges, severe harmonic distortion and cyclic thermal shock generated during arc striking and raw material melting. For this reason, the whole design prioritizes strong overload resistance, adjustable output voltage, robust anti-short-circuit mechanical performance and diversified cooling configuration, fully produced in accordance with global IEC60076, ANSI and corresponding national industrial specifications of importing countries.
